Kenya and Tanzania are the two great East African safari countries. Both deliver Big Five, the Migration and exceptional luxury camps. The difference is logistics and feel — Kenya's conservancies and short transfers favour first-time safari and families; Tanzania's scale and Migration depth reward second-time travellers willing to commit more time. We send roughly 60% of first-time safari clients to Kenya and 40% to Tanzania.
Kenya is the better choice for first-time safari travellers, families and shorter safari-and-beach combinations. Tanzania is the better choice for the Great Migration, wilderness scale and longer expeditions to the Serengeti and Ngorongoro.

Tanzania has greater absolute numbers (the Serengeti is enormous). Kenya has higher density in the Mara and conservancies. Sightings quality is comparable at peak.
Kenya is 10–15% cheaper at entry and premium tiers. At ultra-luxury (Singita-equivalent), pricing is broadly equivalent.
