Yes — it remains one of the great cultural sites on earth. Two visits (afternoon, sunrise next day) and a stay at Belmond Sanctuary Lodge are our recommendation.
No — most luxury clients take the Belmond Hiram Bingham luxury train. The 4-day Inca Trail is excellent for active travellers.
Long travel day to reach Puerto Natales, but the lodge experience (Explora, Tierra) is utterly seamless once there.
