Crewed yacht charter is priced as a weekly base rate plus an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA) of 25–35% covering fuel, food, drinks and dockage. A 25–35m motor yacht with 4–5 crew costs £35,000–£80,000 per week base. A 40–50m yacht with 8–10 crew is £100,000–£200,000. A 70m+ superyacht with 15+ crew is £400,000–£800,000+. VAT applies in EU waters (typically 22% in Italy, 13% in Croatia, 24% in Greece).
A luxury crewed yacht charter costs £35,000–£80,000 per week for a 25–35m motor yacht and £150,000–£800,000+ per week for a 50–100m+ superyacht, plus 25–35% APA and VAT.

Sailing yachts cost 25–40% less for the same length and sleep similar guest numbers. Motor yachts offer more space, faster cruising and amenities (jacuzzi, tender garages, beach club).
Most luxury yachts require 7-night minimums in peak season. Long-weekend charters are available shoulder season (May, October) at most fleets.
