Frequently asked questions

What is the cheapest private jet from London to Nice?

A Phenom 300 one-way typically runs £14,000–£22,000 depending on positioning. A light jet with a slightly older aircraft type (Citation CJ2+) can dip to £12,000 on the right day. Empty legs on this route occasionally appear at £6,000–£10,000 but only for travellers who can accept a fixed departure.

Do quoted prices include VAT and APD?

No. Headline quotes are flying-time cost only. We always show the full breakdown: UK APD (£13 economy-band / £78 standard-band per departing passenger in 2026), applicable VAT (20% on UK-domestic portions), landing and handling, de-icing where seasonal. There are no hidden Apsley fees — our margin is disclosed on the quote.

How far ahead should I book?

For a light jet on a European city pair, 48–72 hours is enough outside peak periods. For heavy or ultra-long-range aircraft on transatlantic or intercontinental routes, 5–10 days is safer. Peak windows — Christmas week, February half term, Monaco Grand Prix, Davos, Cannes, Wimbledon — should be booked 4–8 weeks out.

How much is a private jet to Dubai?

London–Dubai one-way on a heavy jet (Falcon 900LX or G450) is typically £70,000–£90,000; on an ultra-long-range G650ER or Global 7500, £90,000–£110,000. Add £3,000–£6,000 for overnight crew rest if the aircraft returns to the UK. Non-stop is comfortable at these ranges; no fuel stop required.

Can I do a multi-city routing?

Yes. A common summer routing is London–Nice–Olbia–London over a week — the operator holds the aircraft on the ground and repositioning is priced in. It costs more than three separate legs (you pay for crew downtime and empty positioning) but the flexibility is total.

What's the difference between jet cards and ad-hoc charter?

Ad-hoc charter suits flyers under 25 hours a year — no capital committed, pay per trip. Jet cards (NetJets Marquis, VistaJet Programme) suit 25–50 hours with guaranteed availability at fixed hourly rates. Fractional ownership makes sense above 50 hours. We honestly tell you when a card beats ad-hoc for your travel profile.

Can pets travel on board?

Yes — one of the primary reasons clients charter privately. Dogs of any size travel in the cabin. For international routings, the pet still needs a valid pet passport / EU health certificate and destination-country import rules apply. We handle the paperwork check as part of the booking.
