Where available, we request honeymoon touches such as upgrades, spa credits or a special dinner — always at the property's discretion and never guaranteed.

Most of our honeymoons are 10–14 nights, often split across two destinations — for example a city or safari opener followed by a beach finale. 7 nights is the minimum we'd recommend for an overwater villa or villa-based honeymoon to truly switch off.
We tell every property it is a honeymoon and, where available, request upgrades, spa credits, dining and personal touches. These are at the hotel's discretion and never guaranteed.
Ideally 9–12 months before — particularly for the Maldives, Bora Bora or peak Italian summer. The best villas and overwater suites in the most coveted resorts are booked first.
