Between November and March, the strongest luxury winter sun destinations are the Indian Ocean (Maldives, Mauritius, Seychelles), the Caribbean (St Barths, Turks & Caicos, Mustique), the Middle East (Dubai, Oman), South Africa (Cape Town summer), Thailand (peak dry season) and Costa Rica. Each has a clear strength — overwater villa, beach-and-culture, short flight or active adventure.

By August at the latest. The leading luxury winter-sun properties at Cheval Blanc, Soneva, Jumby Bay and Eden Rock sell out 12 months ahead for the Christmas/New Year window.
The Maldives, the Seychelles, Mauritius and Thailand all see 28–32°C in February with low rainfall. The Caribbean (28–30°C) and Dubai (24–27°C) are also excellent.
Hurricane season officially runs June–November. By late November, risk is minimal. December–April is fully reliable.
