Thailand has two main seasons: the cool, dry season (November–February) and the hot, then rainy season (March–October). November–February is the best time for the whole country — comfortable temperatures, dry weather, peak beach and city conditions. The Andaman coast (Phuket, Phi Phi, Krabi) is at its best November–April; the Gulf coast (Koh Samui) follows a different pattern, best February–April and July–September.
November–March is the dry, cool, ideal season nationwide. Andaman coast (Phuket, Krabi) is best Nov–April; Gulf coast (Koh Samui) is best Feb–April and Jul–Sep.
