Vietnam has three climates: the north (Hanoi, Halong Bay, Sapa) has cool winters and hot wet summers; central Vietnam (Hue, Hoi An, Da Nang) is dry March–August; the south (Ho Chi Minh City, Mekong, Phu Quoc) is dry December–April. The best all-rounder windows are February–April and August–October.
