Camp variety and night count drive safari quality more than country choice. A 6-night minimum lets you split between two camps (e.g. plains + woodland) and gives wildlife time to deliver. 10–12 nights lets you cover three contrasting habitats. 14+ nights opens safari-and-beach honeymoons and safari-and-gorilla journeys.
A first safari should be a minimum 6–7 nights across 2 camps. 10–12 nights is the sweet spot — three camps in contrasting habitats — and 14+ nights for safari-and-beach honeymoons or combined safari-and-gorillas.
