December is the most demanding luxury month — the highest pricing, the earliest sell-outs, and the most polarised options. The Maldives, Caribbean and Indian Ocean are at full peak. The Alps open their ski season. Cape Town and Patagonia enter Southern Hemisphere summer. The Christmas/New Year week alone routinely sees a 50–100% premium on standard pricing. Book by August at the latest.
